Extra drums....

I discovered the reason why I have had an extra tabla player for the last 2 days performing…….. my drummer is off abroad to a festival for a few days, so my replacement has been sitting in. Learning by doing and watching. I have to say, I don't think my drummer (as wonderful as he is) has ever been so good! I guess if I was teaching, or performing, in front of someone who was going to cover my job for a while, I would make sure I was the best I could be too. Anyway- I feel I am the winner out of this one, since the new guy seems really good too and the drum solo is getting more and more enjoyable every time! Did I mention in this blog anywhere that dancing with live music is the best thing ever?!!!!
